"Walk out of the hotel and have history at your feet" when you stay at this "sophisticated" "boutique-type property" "right across the street from the Faneuil Hall Marketplace" that recently completed a $25-million renovation; rooms have "varied quite widely" in the past, but the revamped quarters (flat-panel TVs, faux-leather finishes), upgraded public areas and new restaurant are adding an "elegance" not seen before.

Could of used a bigger work out room with more equipment and a sauna.

I would recommend this for anyone staying in Boston. The location was perfect. The staff was friendly and the room was very nice.

The location was great for what we had to do.

There were no ice machines. We had to call for service.

Our room was not ready when we checked in and they upgraded us to a suite which was fantastic. The concierge was extremely helpful with recommending restaurants and giving directions.

Excellent location in the the North End.

While everything was great, price could have been lower.

Great location for the North End, but expect to pay for it. Rooms were very nice.

Great location and decor.

No view in our room. Looking out at a brick wall and alley.

Overall very pleased since we weren't in the room much and the lack of view wasn't an issue. I was staying with a friend. Although they didn't charge us extra.
